GATSBY: The Musical

GATSBY: The Musical
(Teen Division)

HISTORIC PREMIERE PRODUCTION!

Rising Stars proudly presents the world premiere pilot production of "Gatsby: The Musical," making history as the first theater organization ever to perform this exciting new adaptation.

With book and lyrics by Richard Vogel and musical arrangements by the acclaimed Vince Corozine, ASCAP, this fresh take on F. Scott Fitzgerald's masterpiece brings the Jazz Age to vibrant life.

Follow Nick Carraway as he becomes entangled in the passionate pursuit of the enigmatic Jay Gatsby, a self-made millionaire whose lavish parties mask a singular obsession: winning back his lost love, the now-married Daisy Buchanan. Against a backdrop of bootlegged champagne, wild parties, and the decadence of Long Island's wealthy elite, this timeless story explores the dark side of the American Dream.

With soaring melodies and captivating ensemble numbers that blend period jazz with contemporary musical theater, this groundbreaking production marks a significant moment in theater history. From the opulent mansions of East Egg to the gritty "Valley of Ashes," this musical reinvention brings new energy to one of literature's most beloved stories.

Be part of history and witness the debut of this dazzling new musical that captures all the romance, drama, and tragedy of Fitzgerald's unforgettable novel.

BEETLEJUICE Jr.
Junior Division

It's our show now, kid.
The ghost-with-the-most comes to the stage in Beetlejuice JR., the frightfully funny musical based on the beloved motion picture turned Broadway phenomenon. Lydia Deetz is a strange and unusual teenager, still grieving the loss of her mother and obsessed with the whole “being dead thing.” Lucky for Lydia, she and her father move to a new house haunted by a recently deceased couple and Beetlejuice, a delightful demon with a real zest for life. When Lydia calls on Beetlejuice to scare away anyone with a pulse, this double-crossing specter shows his true stripes, unleashing a (Nether) world of pandemonium.
